Ms. Denise Hinchman, Principal

It is with great pride and excitement that I write to you today to share that I have been appointed as the new principal of Jackson Middle School. I am honored to serve in this role and thrilled to join a school with such a strong tradition of excellence.

For the past five years, I have had the privilege of serving in the LEE cluster—first as an Assistant Principal, and most recently as the Curriculum Assistant Principal at LEE High School. I have deeply enjoyed my time at the high school level, and I know that being a part of this cluster is where I am meant to be. Prior to LEE, I spent 14 years at Krueger Middle School, where I served as a teacher, dean and assistant principal. It was during those formative years that I truly came to understand the importance of the middle school experience in shaping student growth, confidence and character.

I believe that schools are not just institutions of learning, they are the heart of the communities they serve. At Jackson, I am committed to fostering an environment where all students are held to high expectations and are supported through developmentally appropriate, research-based instructional practices. Our goal is to equip students with the skills and mindset they need to achieve their future goals and become positive, contributing members of society.

I look forward to building strong relationships with students, families and staff as we work together to support every learner. I am excited for the journey ahead and honored to lead Jackson Middle School into its next chapter of success.

My name is Stanley Gillespie. I am excited to return back to NEISD with the LEE cluster this time. I was a teacher/coach at Krueger Middle School for 5 years. Then, became a counselor at Roosevelt and Churchill before leaving for another district. Working as a counselor, I learned a lot of forming meaningful connections. I decided to go back to school and get my Assistant Principal certification because I am a lifelong learner. I always think of the type of AP I would want for my children, which that's what fuels my decisions, expectations, and planning. I enjoy running, doing home improvement projects, watching sports (soccer, football, etc...) and traveling.
